Inksnibs

Inksnibs is a specialist website devoted to fountain-pen inks and writing instruments. Its central feature is an extensive colour chart that helps visitors explore inks by shade, with categories including black, blue, blue-black, grey, green, red, purple, pink, yellow, orange, burgundy and maroon. Readers can also browse inks by manufacturer, with brands ranging from Diamine, J. Herbin, Sailor and Montblanc to Colorverse, Lamy, Pelikan and Robert Oster. Comparative guides let users examine inks within particular colour families, while individual reviews present specific inks alongside examples of fountain pens and nibs.

The site also covers vintage and handmade inks, ink bottles, fountain pens, notebooks and paper, as well as other related topics. Recent posts feature ink reviews and comparisons, often illustrated with named pens and nib types. Inksnibs regularly updates its colour chart and invites readers to contribute information about new inks. The site is available in French and English and provides a contact form, links and an Instagram presence for its community of writing enthusiasts.
