Inland Rail Pty Ltd is at the forefront of transforming Australia’s freight transport network with its ambitious Inland Rail project—a 1,600 km fast freight railway line connecting Melbourne to Brisbane through regional Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. Established in May 2024 as a subsidiary of the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), Inland Rail Pty Ltd is responsible for the project's construction, which is divided into 12 sections. As each section is completed, ARTC will operate and manage the line, enhancing connectivity for regional producers and manufacturers to national and global markets.
