Inner Child Wellness

Inner Child Wellness is a family and early childhood support service based in Darwin, Northern Territory, helping children, parents and families work towards healing and wellbeing. Led by Heather, the practice takes a strengths-based, neurodivergent-affirming approach, recognising each child’s abilities and individual needs. Its aim is to create a safe, inclusive environment where children and families can build confidence, self-advocacy and meaningful connections.

Services include Early Childhood Specialist Support, offered across six sessions, and Circles of Security Parenting, an eight-week course available one-to-one or in small groups. Support can be delivered face to face, online or through a combination of both. Inner Child Wellness also offers Post Separation Family Support through a 12-month plan, as well as in-home support services supported by Villy. Additional assistance includes goal setting and planning, building relationships, and understanding a child’s needs. The practice highlights support for Defence families and offers tailored services to suit different circumstances. Appointments are available by arrangement, with an initial consultation offered to people interested in learning more.
