Innisfail Show

The Innisfail Show Society is a community organisation that hosts the annual Innisfail Show in July and helps maintain and develop the Innisfail Showgrounds for community use. Based in Innisfail, Queensland, the Society promotes the Cassowary Coast district through an event celebrating agriculture, local talent and traditional show culture. The show brings together families, exhibitors, competitors and local businesses, with attractions ranging from rides, show bags and sideshow entertainment to agricultural displays and competitions.

Exhibits and judging cover horses, cattle, poultry, birds, horticulture, fruit and vegetables, bananas, papaw, sugarcane, art, needlework, cooking, photography and woodwork. Equestrian events are held at Pease Park, a dedicated area on the Palmerston Highway. The Society also provides information for exhibitors and competitors and makes commercial site applications available for indoor and outdoor spaces. Through its annual event and ongoing care of the grounds, the Innisfail Show Society supports community participation and helps preserve a longstanding regional tradition. The 2026 show is scheduled for 9 and 10 July.
