About Inno2Mare
INNO2MARE is dedicated to enhancing the innovation ecosystems of Western Slovenia and Adriatic Croatia. Its primary goal is to foster digital and green transitions within the maritime and connected industries through collaborative actions tailored to address specific needs and gaps in these regions. By developing a comprehensive research and innovation (R&I) strategy aligned with local, national, and EU objectives, INNO2MARE aims to create resilient and sustainable maritime innovation ecosystems.
The initiative features three pilot projects focusing on vital maritime challenges, including education and training, safety in marine traffic, and energy management efficiency. These projects will facilitate the translation of research outcomes into innovative business opportunities through effective public-private partnerships.
Moreover, INNO2MARE strives to engage citizens and promote knowledge transfer among diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, academics, and entrepreneurs. By leveraging best practices from the established Flemish maritime ecosystem, INNO2MARE seeks to reduce the innovation gap in Europe and cultivate a thriving innovation culture across its target regions.
