InnovateDignity

INNOVATEDIGNITY is a pioneering project funded by the European Commission, dedicated to transforming care systems for older adults through innovative research and training. This initiative brings together nursing experts from the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Greece to develop sustainable care models that prioritize dignity and personalization. The project aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders by equipping 15 early-stage researchers with essential skills through hands-on training across various renowned care organizations, advocacy charities, and tech enterprises.

Under the leadership of Professor Kathleen Galvin from the University of Brighton, INNOVATEDIGNITY focuses on several critical areas, including examining older people's perspectives on care, exploring digital innovations, and analyzing gender-related impacts in care delivery. By generating vital knowledge and insights, the project aspires to create effective, dignified care systems that empower older individuals to lead fulfilling lives. Through a collaborative approach, INNOVATEDIGNITY seeks to challenge existing frameworks and foster advancements in the field of caring science.
