InPlanet is a climate-focused company developing Enhanced Rock Weathering projects in Brazil to remove carbon dioxide and support regenerative agriculture. It applies a natural process in an accelerated way: finely ground basalt is spread on farmland, where rainfall helps the rock weather, capturing CO₂ as stable bicarbonate while replenishing depleted soils. The approach is designed to improve soil health, strengthen agricultural resilience, and reduce reliance on conventional farming inputs.
InPlanet works with local mines and tropical farmers, then monitors and measures carbon removal through its measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) approach. The company offers durable carbon removal credits for organisations seeking to address residual emissions and advance climate goals. Its projects span Brazil’s agricultural regions and include more than 20,000 hectares treated with rock powder. InPlanet also shares research and insights on carbon removal science, agriculture, impact, and carbon markets and policy. By combining scientific measurement with the conditions and scale of Brazilian agriculture, the company aims to expand verified carbon removal while restoring working farmland.
