Insectyumz

Insectyumz is the consumer brand of Insect Food Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based importer and supplier of edible insects for human consumption. Launched in July 2024 after Singapore approved edible insects for food, the brand aims to make insect-based food more familiar and encourage consumers to consider its potential as a sustainable food choice. Its range includes species on the Singapore Food Agency’s approved list, such as crickets, mealworms, silkworms, locusts, white grubs and honeybees. Products available through its shop include Tom Yum-flavoured crickets and original-flavour mealworms.

Insectyumz says its insects are farmed and processed at regulated establishments overseen by the relevant authorities. It reports that suppliers operate with HACCP controls and meet ISO 22000 food safety management standards, while imported shipments are accompanied by health certificates. The company also states that its products are approved by Singapore Customs and the Singapore Food Agency. Beyond retail sales, Insect Food supplies insect food and participates in events and collaborations. Its stated priorities include quality, food safety, sustainability, innovation and responsible business practices.
