Insekten-Show

Insekten-Show is an event service based in Sehnde, Lower Saxony, led by Christian Heick, whose lifelong interest in insects and other animals inspired him to share them with audiences. The brand offers engaging, supervised encounters with exotic creatures, including insects, spiders, scorpions, lizards and snakes, helping guests learn about the animals and approach them with respect.

Its main offering is a live animal experience for children’s birthday parties, with formats ranging from one-hour sessions for younger guests to longer events. The three-hour XXL birthday option includes a popcorn machine, a presentation featuring at least three kinds of snakes, and an opportunity for each child to hold a chosen animal under supervision. Insekten-Show also provides programs for kindergartens and schools, including presentations that support science and biology lessons.

Additional services include appearances at senior coffee gatherings, removing spiders from homes, supplying animals for photography, film and television, and support for people seeking to address fears of spiders or snakes. Events are available by arrangement, with travel charges applying to birthday bookings.
