The institute comprises a team of expert researchers, clinicians, and public policy-makers who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for every person with an eating disorder.

InsideOut operates within a co-production framework, involving lived experience, researchers, clinicians, and community members in project development and execution. Their key pillars include research, clinical innovation, education, and public policy, with a focus on translating innovative research into daily practice and providing equitable access to evidence-based treatment packages. InsideOut is funded by federal and state governments, as well as competitive and philanthropic grants.
