About INSP
INSP! is a cultural centre in Roskilde, Denmark, bringing local residents and visitors together through creativity, activities and shared experiences. Open to everyone, it welcomes people who want to spend time in a friendly setting, join an event or develop an idea of their own. Its programme includes workshops, concerts, talks and exhibitions, alongside quizzes, board games, art activities and communal meals. Visitors can check the calendar for upcoming events or propose and organise activities, with INSP! offering facilities, guidance and support.
The centre also has Café Hjerterum, where guests can stop for coffee, lunch or a shared meal; the website notes that Kulturpas can be used there. INSP! rents rooms for work events and celebrations, including themed workdays and birthdays, and can provide spaces, food and staff. Sound and lighting equipment is also available for hire. Housed in a former slaughterhouse, the venue combines its building’s industrial history with its role as a meeting place for culture, community and new ideas.
