Inspire Taekwondo offers welcoming martial arts classes for children and adults in Maroubra and Matraville, with families from nearby Malabar, Pagewood and Hillsdale also welcome. Its classes are designed to make learning enjoyable and supportive, and parents are encouraged to train alongside their children. Master Gordon, who has more than 20 years of teaching experience, leads the program with a focus on fun and rewarding instruction.
Training is organised by age and experience. Tiny Tigers classes introduce children aged four to six to basic listening and motor skills. Beginner and Intermediate classes are for older children and adults starting out, with students progressing through the coloured belts. Seniors classes support older children and adults approaching black belt and continuing beyond it.
Classes take place on Thursdays at Matraville Public School and on Saturdays at Des Renford Leisure Centre in Maroubra. Inspire Taekwondo offers free trial opportunities and accepts Active Kids vouchers. The website provides class timetables, belt grading information, a gallery and contact details for enquiries.
