About Lightweight Labs
Instabooks is a web application from Lightweight Labs LLC that provides a faster interface for working with QuickBooks Online. Designed for accountants, bookkeepers, and teams managing multiple client files, it mirrors QuickBooks data into a responsive workspace while keeping QuickBooks Online as the source of truth. Users can switch between companies, search and drill into large general ledgers, and collaborate with colleagues in real time.
Instabooks also supports batch editing of transactions, including changes to accounts, memos, classes, and tags, and offers tools to reorganize and manage a chart of accounts. Filtered ledgers, account lists, and transaction selections can be exported to CSV. The service syncs changes with QuickBooks Online in both directions and provides links from transactions back to their native QuickBooks pages.
Access uses Intuit OAuth, which customers can revoke through their Intuit account. Instabooks has completed Intuit’s security audit and offers a three-day free trial, followed by a subscription priced at $15 per month for one company
