Instinctive Wellness, LLC provides integrative health care and Reiki services in Chestertown, Maryland, serving residents of Maryland and Delaware through virtual and in-person appointments. Founded by Deb Reid, a nurse practitioner with two decades of experience, the practice combines evidence-based medicine and clinical diagnostics with functional medicine, attentive listening, and trauma-aware, individualized care.

Its integrative medicine approach aims to investigate possible root causes of complex health concerns rather than focus only on surface symptoms. Care may consider physical, neurological, emotional, energetic, spiritual, and genetic factors, as well as nutrition and everyday environmental exposures. Intuitive impressions and somatic awareness help guide questions and areas for further investigation, but are not used as diagnoses or substitutes for medical evaluation.

Instinctive Wellness also offers Reiki therapy and training. A Reiki session may be suggested early in care, but it is optional. The practice emphasizes collaborative treatment planning tailored to each person’s health history, physiology, nervous system, and lived experience.
