The Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan is a renowned knowledge center located within the Lebanese Ministry of Finance. As a specialized autonomous public institution, its primary goal is to enhance capacity development in public financial management and governance through policy research, training, and partnership building. The Institute also focuses on promoting financial literacy among young individuals and facilitating access to information by operating a public library.

Its impact extends beyond national boundaries, as it serves as a platform for regional cooperation, hosting the secretariat of the GIFT-MENA network of civil service training schools and acting as the regional training center for the World Customs Organization. Since its inception in 1996, the Institute has played an instrumental role in promoting a culture of continuous learning in Lebanon and the Arab region, while also advocating for increased awareness and knowledge in financial and tax matters.
