About Institut du Bon Pasteur
The Institute of the Good Shepherd North America is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Catholicism within the Church. Since its foundation in 2006, the Institute has been entrusted by the Holy See to contribute to the work of evangelization, incorporating the specific doctrinal and liturgical traditions that define its mission. The Institute's Seminary, Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, located in Courtalain, France, endeavors to form future priests in the image of the Good Shepherd, guiding them with the principle of firm doctrine, tender heart.
The Institute's priests serve in urban parishes like Saint-Eloi in Bordeaux, as well as in rural communities, reviving and nourishing the faithful through the celebration of the traditional liturgy and sacraments. With a mission that extends across continents, the Institute's young priests continue the missionary legacy of France, spreading the richness of the traditional rite worldwide. With a versatile approach to pastoral activities, including retreats, children's camps, and online evangelization, the Institute aims to meet the needs of the modern world while preserving the timeless teachings and traditions of the Catholic faith
