Institut LongCovid

Institut LongCovid is an innovative and unique project established by Dr. Jördis Frommhold, focusing on the complexities of Long Covid. Since the onset of the pandemic in April 2020, the institute has gained extensive expertise in treating thousands of affected individuals at the Rehaklinik Heiligendamm. The institute's primary focus is on offering patient navigation, preventive care, and consulting services aimed at improving diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for Long Covid.

Recognizing that a significant percentage of individuals who contract Covid-19 experience long-term complications, the institute strives to address these challenges through comprehensive education and training for workplaces and healthcare systems. Their offerings include personalized consultations, therapeutic options, and informative resources, available both in-person and digitally, to facilitate easier access to care. The institute also contributes to the advancement of Long Covid treatment pathways, including day clinics, and collaborates with universities for ongoing research. Through these efforts, Institut LongCovid aims to empower patients and foster better societal understanding and support for this emerging health crisis.
