INSULTHILFE e. V. is a German nonprofit organization focused on supporting people affected by stroke and their relatives.
It aims to improve everyday life and social participation by providing reliable information, practical resources, and opportunities for peer exchange. The organization was founded by Willi Daniels, who experienced a stroke at age 48 and has since worked to support others affected by the condition. Its initiatives include a moderated, closed Facebook group where stroke survivors and family members can connect and share experiences.
INSULTHILFE also offers SAMagazin TV and information about stroke symptoms, prevention, and emergency response. Its Schlaganfall-Kompass app provides information on stroke-related topics and can send updates through push notifications. A separate app, Alzheimer in Ebersberg, gives relatives of people with Alzheimer’s in the Ebersberg district information about care and relevant contacts, along with news alerts.
INSULTHILFE is planning a moderated online self-help platform for live communication and information sharing. Through these services, the organization seeks to strengthen access to knowledge, support, and community
