Insurance Recruiters

The National Insurance Recruiters Association (NIRA) is a selective professional network of recruiting firms specializing in the insurance industry. Its members collaborate through shared standards, confidentiality, and trust, combining specialist expertise with the broader reach of a connected network. NIRA describes itself as a community rather than a directory, bringing recruiters together to share job orders, split business, exchange best practices, and support employers and fellow recruiters through a single point of contact.

The association connects members and employers across insurance sectors and specialties, including agents and brokers, carriers, life and health, property and casualty, third-party administrators, and wholesale, MGA, and E&S markets. Its services include membership and partner opportunities, a company and member directory, job listings, events, and access to a network for collaborative recruiting. NIRA also publishes career advice and hiring insights, including guidance on resumes, sales, leadership, skills development, and executive search. Through member perspectives and media content, the association shares observations on hiring in underwriting, claims, operations, and leadership, helping its community stay informed about changes in insurance recruiting.
