In Sync Youth & Family Services is a community-focused organisation supporting young people, families and communities across County Kildare and West Wicklow. Founded in the early 1970s by volunteer youth club leaders, it began as Kildare Federation of Youth Clubs, became Kildare Youth Services in 1986 and adopted its current name in 2020 after an inclusive consultation process. Its work places young people at the centre and uses a multidisciplinary, integrated approach to provide holistic support.
In Sync manages 11 youth projects, including youth services and youth diversion projects, and supports seven youth clubs across Kildare. Its family services include four projects, alongside a youth counselling service and a child and family project. The organisation also offers youth information services, including an online live chat that connects young people with professional Youth Information Officers for personalised information. Other initiatives include Comhairle na nÓg, KLGBTI+ support and the FAIM and HALO projects.
