Integrated Mind Research Institute

The Integrated Mind Research Institute (IMRI) is an Oregon nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status, focused on studying neural oscillations, commonly known as brainwaves. The institute aims to investigate how brainwave frequencies—from delta to gamma—relate to states of consciousness, and how greater understanding of these patterns may help people make positive changes in their lives. Its mission also includes exploring ways to influence brainwaves and developing new technologies while improving existing ones.

IMRI plans to conduct in-depth research studies to advance scientific knowledge and technology, building on the work of Dr. James Hardt, whom the institute describes as a leader in brainwave research for more than 40 years. Through this research, IMRI seeks to make aspects of human consciousness more observable, understandable, and potentially expandable. The organization also promotes public engagement through events such as the Global Consciousness Summit, which it presents as a virtual gathering centered on higher consciousness. Donations support the nonprofit’s work and are tax-deductible.
