INTEGRATE is a collaborative initiative aimed at enhancing the integration of prevention, testing, and linkage to care for HIV, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis (TB), and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) across Europe. By 2020, INTEGRATE seeks to improve early diagnosis and facilitate access to essential health services in EU member states. The project serves as a platform for sharing best practices and promoting discussions about innovative strategies related to these critical health issues.
To achieve its objectives, INTEGRATE assesses and adapts existing tools for prevention and testing, implementing them in select pilot countries. The initiative has produced significant resources, including the INTEGRATE Online Learning module and a publication featuring ten articles on integrated infectious disease management.
Furthermore, it launched the RiskRadar tool, available in multiple languages, to help individuals evaluate their risk of these diseases and locate testing sites. With a focus on collaboration among diverse stakeholders, INTEGRATE promotes a comprehensive and effective response to public health challenges in Europe.
