The UPS system used for the project consisted of 6 modules of 15kVA, which could be configured in either redundancy or parallel technology. Redundancy ensures system reliability by compensating for the failure of any individual element with the insertion of an identical or similar one.

The parallel redundant configurations allow the system to tolerate the failure of a single UPS module without transferring the load to the electrical grid. Additionally, Intelligenio also manufactured an electrical bypass panel with appropriate switches to protect the UPS and critical loads, as well as implemented a bypass locking system to prevent mishandling during online transfers.
