CW Intercept Wines is a wine brand created by former NFL player Charles Woodson as a thank-you to his fans. Inspired by his football career, the name Intercept also reflects the brand’s message that life’s possibilities remain open and worth pursuing. Its goal is to offer high-quality wine at accessible prices, with grapes selected from vineyards in Paso and Monterey and crafted by California Central Valley native Amanda Gorter, the head winemaker.
The range includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Red Blend, and sparkling Crémant de Bourgogne. Customers can shop individual bottles, limited-edition releases such as the Pro Football Hall of Fame Cabernet Sauvignon, and curated packs and cases. The brand also offers the Lion Pride Wine Club, which provides exclusive perks, and sells online while helping customers find nearby stores.
Beyond wine, CW Intercept supports the next generation of wine-industry talent through scholarships established with the O’Neill Family for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color interested in pursuing careers in the field.
