About Interchange Recycling
Interchange Recycling is a not-for-profit, producer-governed group dedicated to environmental sustainability. We collect and recycle products like used motor oil, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze, and antifreeze containers to turn them into new, eco-friendly products. Our goal is to provide British Columbians with a cost-effective way to recycle automotive and industrial waste while protecting the environment.
Our vast network of recycling centers across the province is free and open to the public, accepting a variety of materials at no cost to you. From used oil and antifreeze products to containers and filters, we ensure that these items are recycled into new materials like lubricating oil, metal products, and new containers.
Funded by an Environmental Handling Fee (EHC), our program is supported by the initial seller, making recycling easy, accessible, and free for all. Join us in our mission to protect the environment and recycle responsibly.
