Interlegal is proud to be one of the world's first law firm networks. Originally established in Europe in response to increasing cross-border business, the globalization of legal practices, and the emerging needs of our clients, we have grown into a global network. Our journey began with the careful research and negotiation between law firms from France, Spain, and Portugal.

Over time, seven additional countries, including England, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, joined us in creating the European Economic Interest Group. Belgium and Denmark followed suit shortly after. Officially founded in 1989 as Eurojurist, our network gradually expanded, providing excellent legal services to clients, ranging from small corporations to multinationals, across Europe.

As clients demanded assistance in overseas regions, we recognized the need for a wider global network. In 1994, Eurojurist Network was formed and later renamed Interlegal in 1996. Today, we have members from the Americas, Asia, the Far East, Australia, and the new EU member states.
