Unclaimed brand
At International Dyno Authority we are strictly a Dyno Testing and Performance Tuning shop. Dyno testing and custom tuning is our only business – not a side business. We custom built our chassis and engine dynamometers to exacting specifications so that we can deliver the best dyno testing and tuning in the industry.

International Dyno Authority is a specialist dyno testing and performance tuning shop in North Dundas, Ontario, located at Mid Mountain Performance about 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Since October 2025, the business has been owned by long-time expert tuner Wally Alberto, following the retirement of founder Mark Chartrand. Dyno testing and tuning are its sole focus, rather than an add-on service.
The shop uses custom-built chassis and engine dynamometers designed to deliver reliable test results and support precise tuning. Its technicians work with customers at all experience levels, from newcomers to seasoned automotive enthusiasts, helping them pursue their vehicle performance goals. Services include dyno testing, custom engine tuning, and adjustments to cam and ignition timing, electronic control units, carburetors, and air-fuel ratios.
The team also evaluates turbocharged and supercharged setups, monitoring factors such as manifold air temperature, manifold air pressure, and exhaust gas temperature. Appointments are available by arrangement. International Dyno Authority can be contacted by phone at 613-293-8103
