The International SOS Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organisation established in 2011 to improve the health, safety and security of workers worldwide. Through research, thought leadership, training and events, it raises awareness of organisations’ Duty of Care responsibilities and provides resources to help them manage workforce risks.

Its offerings include live and virtual training on Duty of Care, traveller health and safety, crisis management, natural hazards preparedness, workforce wellbeing, and standards such as ISO 31030 and ISO 31031. The Foundation also publishes white papers and practical guidance on topics including travel risk management, employee wellbeing, compliance, and safeguarding international workforces. Its resources include regional Duty of Care perspectives and case studies for organisations operating across different countries.

The Foundation convenes experts through events such as the Duty of Care Summit, which features discussion, practical case studies and networking. Its Duty of Care Awards recognise organisations that improve working conditions and people’s welfare while helping protect lives.
