About Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic
Target Circular, led by Munster Technological University (MTU), is a €1. 6 million international project aimed at assisting SMEs in adopting sustainable practices. In collaboration with institutions across Ireland, Finland, Norway, Iceland, and Sweden, this project focuses on implementing a more scientific decision-making approach.
Through strategy mapping tools and training programmes, Target Circular supports businesses in transitioning to circular and sustainable models. Dr. Niall O’Leary, the project coordinator, emphasizes the importance of focusing efforts to achieve sustainability goals effectively.
The initiative has already launched entrepreneur training sessions and plans to distribute materials through Local Enterprise Offices. Business owners like Michael Ledwith and sustainability manager Louise Byrne have benefitted from the programme, showcasing real-world success stories.
