InterregMAC is a collaborative initiative aimed at promoting political, economic, and institutional cooperation between the regions of Madeira, Azores, and the Canary Islands, alongside seven African countries. With a total funding of €200 million from the INTERREG V-A Spain-Portugal MAC program for 2021-2027, the initiative is designed to enhance regional competitiveness and sustainable development.

InterregMAC focuses on four key priorities: fostering intelligent economic transformation, supporting the transition to a green economy, enhancing governance in partnerships, and improving migration management. The program actively encourages a cooperative framework that addresses climate change, environmental risks, and promotes a green and blue economy.
