Intersection of Change

Intersection of Change is a community-based nonprofit organization located in Baltimore, MD. Founded in 1996, our mission is to address poverty-related challenges in Baltimore's Sandtown-Winchester, Upton, and surrounding communities. Our programs and services aim to enrich the economic, social, and spiritual lives of individuals dealing with poverty-related issues.

Martha's Place is a residential recovery program that provides support for women overcoming substance abuse and homelessness. Jubilee Arts offers classes in dance, visual arts, ceramics, and youth business, as well as public art projects to revive the arts in our community. Strength to Love II utilizes an urban farm to provide employment opportunities for returning citizens, workforce development for youth, and to address food apartheid.

Additionally, our Neighborhood Revitalization program focuses on renovations, murals, the creation of green spaces, and special events in the 1900 and 2000 blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue. Join us in making a positive change by supporting our organization through volunteering or donations. Together, we can create a stronger, more vibrant community.
