Intertechno

Intertechno Funk-Technik GesmbH is an Austrian smart-home technology company with a history dating back to 1970. It develops wireless products that help people make existing lamps, lights and other electrical devices smarter, often without replacing them or undertaking major installation work. Its range includes more than 60 products, such as radio transmitters, sensors and actuators for improving home comfort and enabling practical everyday controls.

Intertechno’s solutions support applications including remote switching and dimming. For example, its built-in dimmer can be fitted behind an existing light switch, with selected modules using two-wire technology that does not require a neutral conductor. Products can be combined in many configurations, allowing customers to expand their setup over time, including through the intertechno Selection line, which supports connection to the Internet of Things. The company also highlights voice control through Amazon Alexa. Its website provides product portfolio information, an application configurator and installation guidance. Intertechno focuses on retrofitting smart technology into existing buildings, aiming to make automation accessible without unnecessary complexity or expense.
