The event has seen remarkable growth, with the first two editions held at the Cable Factory in Helsinki, attracting 3000 to 4000 participants.

In subsequent years, India Day moved to the popular Kaisaniemi Park, located at the heart of Helsinki, and drew even larger crowds. The sixth edition in 2022 welcomed over 25000 visitors. India Day offers a variety of attractions and activities for visitors to enjoy.
