About Invest for Impact Nepal
Invest for Impact Nepal is a groundbreaking brand that focuses on fostering transformative Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Nepal. Their mission is to accelerate growth, create jobs, and promote an equitable and sustainable economy in Nepal. Invest for Impact Nepal collaborates with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and Impact Investors to support foreign investors in Nepal.
As a part of their services, Invest for Impact Nepal assists financial institutions and Private Equity and Venture Capital (PEVC) funds to access resources and expertise from DFIs and impact investors, ensuring that they meet international standards for Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) and promoting sustainable financing. They also provide investment readiness support to Financial Institutions and PEVC funds, helping them attract foreign investments. Invest for Impact Nepal is a collaborative platform established by British International Investment (BII), the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO), and the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC).
Their initiative started in February 2021 and will continue until July 2025, aiming to shape and build the markets of tomorrow in Nepal for increased productivity, incomes, and jobs
