Investigación y Ciencia was a Spanish science publishing brand founded in 1976, dedicated to bringing scientific knowledge and research to readers through magazines, books, collections, and digital content. Its publications included Investigación y Ciencia, covering science broadly, and Mente y Cerebro, focused on mind and brain topics. The brand also made magazine content available on its website, extending its editorial offering to digital readers.

After more than four decades of publishing, Investigación y Ciencia announced that its editorial activities would cease on January 31, 2023, citing worsening economic conditions. The final issue of Investigación y Ciencia was number 556, published in December 2022; Mente y Cerebro concluded with issue 118 that same month. The publisher thanked its readers, contributors, researchers, and scientists for their trust and support. Subscribers whose subscriptions could not be fulfilled were to receive a proportional refund, with arrangements handled by email. The announcement also pointed readers to German and English science magazines, including Spektrum der Wissenschaft and Scientific American.
