Somos un grupo de voluntarios que, junto al FES (Fondo de Emprendimientos Solidarios), lanzamos un portal de voluntariado y donaciones. Involucrate es un portal de voluntariados y donaciones totalmente gratuito que busca reunir a los voluntarios que desean involucrarse en causas sociales con las organizaciones que los necesitan. De esta manera ayudamos a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil a encontrar de forma rápida voluntarios y/o donaciones que necesitan. ¿Cómo funciona? Al ingresar en involucrate.uy, la organización debe inscribirse y luego postular sus oportunidades. Por ejemplo, si necesita voluntarios encontrará diferentes opciones para elegir para cada caso en particular: voluntariado puntual o recurrente, debe concurrir o puede hacerlo de forma virtual, cuantas veces por semana o por mes debe concurrir, qué tipo de conocimiento debe tener el voluntario, etc. El voluntario entrará al portal y encontrará diversos llamados y los elegirá según sus intereses, su tiempo disponible, su cercanía y su capacidad para llevar adelante la tarea. En la plataforma también se podrán ingresar las necesidades de donaciones que tiene una organización, desde muebles, ropa, alimento, computadoras, etc. ¿Por qué lo hacemos? - Porque creemos que la sociedad uruguaya lo necesita para alcanzar un mayor desarrollo social y ambiental. - Porque creemos que de esta forma estaremos creando una sociedad más integrada. - Porque creemos que el desarrollo personal de los ciudadanos está ligado a las acciones altruistas que realiza. - Porque sabemos que la experiencia del voluntariado es formativa para las experiencias laborales, así como las experiencias laborales son formativas para el ámbito del voluntariado. - Porque sabemos que una mujer u hombre por su cuenta nunca podrán generar el impacto que puede lograr en conjunto con una ONG que se encuentra en acción.
