Inside Outside Communications (IOC) Foundation is a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to support the educational, social, cultural, and economic development of minorities and youth. Its mission is to build stronger communities through partnership, helping young people develop confidence, pursue education, and prepare to become future community leaders. The foundation runs and supports community programs and events, including educational seminars, cultural activities, job fairs, talent recognition events, public benefits, and awards dinners.
Its initiatives include scholarship funding, the Fikes Honeycutt Scholarship, the Community Service Award, Stay in School and Back to School activities, occupation preparation, and Officer Jerome Divinity’s Warm Coat Giveaway. The Fikes Honeycutt Scholarship recognizes high school seniors with community leadership experience and a GPA of at least 2. 0, with awards ranging from $200 to $2,000.
Donations help fund scholarships and programs, including warm coats for children; the foundation notes that contributions of $25 or $50 can assist with providing a coat. IOC also partners with other community-based organizations to deliver activities and services
