Este nos es enseñado de forma verdadera y sincera desde sus origenes de forma tradicional y hereditaria desde Sensei Kanryo Higaonna, Sensei Chojun Miyagi, Sensei Anichi Miyagi, Sensei Aragaki Shuichi, Sensei Morio Higaonna y en la actualidad por Sensei Tetsuji Nakamura, instructor jefe mundial de la organización I.O.G.K.F. (International Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate-Do Federation) y que está representada en más de 60 países de todo el mundo, a través de organizaciones como la nuestra, I.O.G.K.F. España, que representan la filosofía del fundador del Goju-Ryu Karate-Do “BUSHI” Chojun Miyagi, y con la perspectiva que es la importancia de dedicarse a la divulgación y desarrollo de Goju-Ryu Karate-Do a través del entrenamiento diligente para que nosotros podamos llegar a entender la esencia de nuestro arte. IOGKF Spain is the Spanish organization of the International Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Federation, a network represented in more than 60 countries. It promotes the traditional practice and philosophy of Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-Do, tracing its teaching lineage through masters including Kanryo Higaonna, Chojun Miyagi, Anichi Miyagi, Aragaki Shuichi and Morio Higaonna, and continuing under worldwide chief instructor Tetsuji Nakamura. In Spain, the organization is led by Luis Nunes, a ninth-dan instructor with more than 50 years of teaching and promotion of karate.
IOGKF Spain supports training and the development of the art through a technical curriculum covering warm-ups, supplementary exercises, flexibility, stances, basic techniques, strikes, blocks, kicks, kata and kumite. Its website also offers information about karate history, terminology, etiquette, equipment and belt grades, alongside publications, articles, photographs and resources for children. The federation connects practitioners through affiliated dojos across several Spanish regions and organizes national courses, regular training sessions and group events. Its stated aim is to help students understand the essence of Goju-Ryu through diligent practice.
