IOGT Basel

IOGT Basel is a locally based, politically and religiously independent association that supports people facing problems with alcohol. Drawing on more than 125 years of experience, it offers a welcoming place for people who are ready to make a change, without requiring them to commit to lifelong abstinence. Its central service is a guided weekly discussion group, where participants can work together on addressing alcohol-related difficulties.

The association also promotes alcohol-free activities and leisure opportunities for everyone. Its website shares current news about IOGT Basel, information about its activities, and useful links, as well as details about its alcohol-support services and a current radio spot for the Basel region. Visitors can learn about the organisation’s statutes and make donations through TWINT, with or without a donation receipt.

IOGT Basel is located at Metzerstrasse 16, 4056 Basel. People seeking information or support can contact the association by telephone or email. Its message, “Come on, let’s have none yet,” reflects its practical, change-oriented approach to alcohol and everyday habits.
