Isle of Man Athletics Association (IOMAA) is the National Governing Body for athletics on the Isle of Man and the island’s central hub for running and athletic sport. Its vision is to make athletics a leading sport locally by promoting an inclusive environment for people aged seven and up, supporting participation at every level and encouraging lifelong involvement.
The Association helps people find ways to take part through local clubs, competitions, coaching, officiating and volunteering opportunities. Its competition programme includes local leagues and series, championships and annual events, alongside information about off-island leagues and international events such as the Island Games and Commonwealth Games. Athletes can explore performance support through the IOM Athletics Performance Programme, SportsAid Academy and athlete resources.
IOMAA covers track and field, cross country, race walking, road running, trail running and fell running. The organisation also shares fixtures, results, records, news and coaching resources, and provides information on safeguarding and clean sport.
