Iosco Sportsmen’s Club is a volunteer organization serving sportsmen in Iosco County since 1947. It operates ranges in Tawas and at Wurtsmith in Oscoda, offering facilities and activities for members, guests, and the public during scheduled events. Rifle shooters can use covered positions and benches at distances including 25, 50, and 100 yards; the Oscoda range also has 300- and 600-yard options, with access to these longer distances subject to membership or scheduled practice and matches.

Both locations provide covered pistol shooting areas, with activities such as defensive-style practice, Bullseye matches, and summer steel plate shoots. At Wurtsmith, visitors can take part in shotgun sports including Trap, Skeet, and 5-Stand, with a summer league open to members and non-members. The club also maintains an archery range with 3D targets and flat-line shooting.

Concealed Pistol License training is offered by Bob Mills, with class dates listed on the club calendar. Range access and events are guided by safety rules and volunteer availability
