Ipanema Stables is an equestrian training program based in Rancho Santa Fe and Los Angeles, California. Founded by Patrick Pellin and later joined by his longtime friend and accomplished rider Daniel Anicet, the stable brings international experience and thoughtful horsemanship to its work. Its philosophy centers on developing both horses and riders to reach the highest levels of the sport, reflecting a shared passion for equestrian excellence.
Ipanema Stables offers training through its program and serves clients from two locations: 2425 5th Street in Encinitas, associated with its Rancho Santa Fe presence, and 11701 Little Tujunga Canyon Road in Sylmar, serving the Los Angeles area. The stable’s leadership combines Pellin’s founding role with Anicet’s riding experience, guiding an approach focused on the partnership between horse and rider. For inquiries, clients can contact Patrick Pellin by phone.
Ipanema Stables presents itself as a dedicated home for equestrian development, pairing experienced leadership with a considered approach to training
