About IPA Pilots
Welcome to the Independent Pilots Association (IPA), the collective bargaining unit representing over 3,300 professional pilots who fly for United Parcel Service (UPS), the world's largest transportation company. Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, the IPA serves as a strong advocate for the rights and interests of UPS pilots. At IPA, our primary focus is on ensuring improved working conditions, wages, and benefits for our members.
We work closely with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) to negotiate fair contracts on behalf of our pilots. The recent tentative agreement between IBT and UPS, which averted a potential national strike, is a testament to our relentless efforts. Under the leadership of IPA President Bob Travis, we prioritize solidarity and collaboration with our fellow UPS employees.
We maintain open lines of communication with the IBT and continually support each other during negotiations.
