IPDET, which stands for the International Program for Development Evaluation Training, is a brand that collaborates with strategic partners to create a global and inclusive community focused on improving development outcomes through evaluative evidence. This executive training program is designed for decision makers, managers, and practitioners, providing them with the necessary tools to effectively commission, manage, and evaluate policies, programs, and projects at various levels. The program offers a diverse approach to cater to audiences from different organizations and sectors involved in the evaluation process.

The curriculum includes a one-week core course on evaluation fundamentals, followed by two weeks of workshops covering specialized topics and the latest developments in the field. In response to the Covid-19 crisis, IPDET introduced a fully virtual program in 2020 and 2021. Moving forward, they plan to offer a combination of onsite and online formats for the best possible learning and networking experience.
