The Instituto Plurinacional de Estudios de Lenguas y Culturas (IPELC) is a decentralized entity under the Ministry of Education of Bolivia, established by Law No. 070. Located in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, IPELC aims to normalize, revitalize, and develop indigenous languages and cultures throughout Bolivia. In line with national efforts, the institution is embracing the decade from 2022 to 2032 as the "Decade of Indigenous Languages," fostering appreciation and preservation of native tongues.

IPELC offers a variety of services including language courses structured at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. With a course duration of three months and a total of 240 hours, these classes are designed for anyone interested in learning indigenous languages. Additionally, IPELC manages certification processes for native speakers and conducts authenticity verifications for educational credentials. Through its initiatives, IPELC not only enhances linguistic skills but also contributes significantly to the cultural identity and heritage of Bolivia's diverse populations.
