The Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (IPER) is a pharmacy education institution in Borgaon (Meghe), Wardha, Maharashtra. Established in 1982, it is managed by the Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society, an organisation founded in 1965 to support academic development among rural students, particularly in science and technology. IPER offers education in pharmaceutical sciences at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, including B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Ph.D. programmes. The institute serves around 400 students from across India and has a five-acre campus with laboratories, a library and qualified teaching staff.
Alongside its academic programmes, IPER provides information and support for admissions, examinations, research and student development. Its resources include course details, syllabi, academic calendars, faculty profiles, research publications, library e-resources and alumni services. The institute also promotes student engagement through committees, NSS activities, competitive examination support, industry-institute partnerships and events. Prospective students can find admission notifications and merit lists, while current students and other stakeholders can access feedback channels, grievance support and institutional policies through the institute’s website.
