IP Location Block

IP Location Block is a WordPress geolocation and access-control plugin from IDEOLOGIX MEDIA. It helps website owners manage who can access their sites by setting rules based on country, state, region, IP range, or autonomous system number (ASN) and telecom provider. Users can create allowlists or blocklists and apply controls to areas including the public-facing site, WordPress administration, comments, XML-RPC, and login forms.

The plugin offers a free tier with 10,000 geolocation requests per month and no credit card requirement. Its optional Native Mode uses frequently updated geolocation data to improve country-level accuracy and enable more precise state or regional rules. Additional features include CIDR matching with a built-in calculator, configurable responses and redirects, access logs, blocking statistics, and customization through actions and filters. The plugin also supports IPv6 and includes privacy measures: IP addresses are encrypted in logs and cache, with an option to anonymize them.
