Octeth is a self-hosted email marketing platform, established in 1999, for agencies, SaaS companies and enterprises. It lets organizations run email marketing on infrastructure they control, replacing recurring per-contact platform fees with a one-time license. Octeth supports email campaigns, SMS messaging, automated customer journeys, audience management and transactional email from one installation.
Campaign tools include a drag-and-drop editor, testing, scheduling and deliverability features. Users can manage subscriber lists, custom fields, segments, consent records and suppression lists, while journeys combine email, SMS and webhook actions. The platform also offers a white-label email service provider solution, with client accounts, custom branding, domains and configurable limits. Developers can use its REST API, webhooks and plugin system to connect Octeth with other services and build custom features.
Octeth runs on Linux servers through Docker and can route delivery through providers such as Amazon SES, SendGrid and Mailgun, or a customer’s own mail transfer agent. Subscriber data and activity remain on the customer’s infrastructure.
