Established in 1952, IPPF is a movement of over 100 autonomous organizations with a presence in over 140 countries. Their work encompasses comprehensive sex education, provision of contraceptives, safe abortion, maternal care, and response to humanitarian crises.

The IPPF Arab World Region (AWR) operates in 15 countries with the aim of supporting government efforts and promoting effective partnerships within national frameworks.
