Welcome to the official website of Kyoto's Uji tea vendor, Shimizu Ippoen. With a history dating back to 1945, we are a specialized tea wholesaler. Recognizing that it is difficult to distinguish the quality of tea based on origin or appearance alone, we adhere to the fundamental principles of the Shimizu Family Five Teachings.
We strive to be the company that brings the greatest joy to our customers by selecting and offering the finest teas. Whether you are a retailer or a wholesaler, small or large quantity, domestic or international, we are here to meet all your needs. We provide the best tea tailored to your preferences.
We have two cafes in Kyoto: the Kyoto main store near Kyoto Station, and the Takoyakushi store in the bustling downtown area near Kawaramachi Station. These locations offer the chance to experience our signature matcha latte, shaved ice, and parfait. In addition, our online shop offers a wide range of carefully selected teas, including Japanese tea, matcha for tea ceremonies and confectioneries, Chinese teas such as Taiwanese tea and oolong tea.
Stay informed about our store updates, new menus, and special offers by following our official social media accounts. Visit Shimizu Ippoen, where the finest teas await you
